In this part, you built the big-picture foundation for the course. You moved from raw data and files to databases and DBMSs, learned the relational model and how to read simple schema structures, reflected on privacy and data-design questions, and briefly looked at other database types.
You also built a walking skeleton of the study tracker project and saw how routes, SQL, templates, migrations, and PostgreSQL fit together in one small end-to-end application.
