Recap and Feedback
In this part, you focused on conceptual database design. You worked from case descriptions toward entities, attributes, relationships, cardinalities, ER diagrams, and identifiers.
You also practiced the same skills on three outside domains — the course platform, the recipe app, and the library — instead of working only on one. That variety matters, because subject analysis is a judgment skill that transfers well only when it has been used on more than one domain.
Finally, you also practised archaeology and turned the study tracker from Parts 1 to 4 into a design object of its own. For the project, you created a subject-analysis note, an ER diagram, and a design rationale, and then assembled them into one deliverable.
